STATEMENT

INTANGIBLE is an interactive audio archive that reimagines how we explore and share sound. Instead of passive, algorithm-driven streaming, users navigate a 3D graph where each node triggers a sound—creating a non-linear, exploratory listening experience. The project stems from a reflection on music's emotional universality, our innate tendency to imitate and remix, and the tensions between intellectual property laws and creative freedom.

HOW TO USE: Enter a username to create or join a personal audio space. Record up to 5 seconds of sound, name your node, and upload it to the graph. Click any node to hear it play. Your contributions persist across sessions, building a collaborative web of sound that challenges traditional music consumption. The default "home" space contains starter sounds—explore there first, then create your own archive.

This project questions who benefits from current music distribution models and whether free, collaborative access to sound can foster a more vibrant culture. By making the act of sharing music participatory and tangible, INTANGIBLE invites you to contribute to a collective exploration of sonic expression—beyond rented platforms and passive consumption.
